The geology of Scotland produces mainly soft water that can have a dulling effect on tea. To prevent this, Taylors of Harrogate created Scottish Breakfast, a "thick" and strong cup of tea with a rich malty taste. The flavor works very well with soft water. Best served with milk, this is an ideal breakfast tea. Taylors of Harrogate Scottish Breakfast Loose Leaf blend comes from the Assam region of India.

Net Weight: 4.4 ounces (124 grams)

Ingredients: Black tea from India and Africa

With its malty strength and nutty undertones, Taylor's Scottish Breakfast offers a bright copper red liqueur with bold and bracing flavors. The best morning perk you can ask for!

Love this tea and have ordered it many times. I will it came in a larger size. Nice robust flavor and a dash of milk and pinch of sugar is a wonderful start to the day.

This is a nice tea for those who prefer a stronger and maltier taste. I confess that I usually use it in conjunction with Barry's decaf tea bags (actually the best decaf black tea I have yet tried) so I can more or less get a half-caf kind of tea. The two together gives me a nice rounded cup of tea!
