Chai Loose Tea
Davidson's classic organic chai tea is a premium black tea with organic cinnamon, cloves, cardamom, orange peel and other natural flavors. Our English Tea Store brand of Night of the Iguana Chocolate Chai Tea is named for American playwright Tennessee Williams' famous play. This is a black Assam tea from India with white chocolate, caramel, ginger, cardamom, coriander, cinnamon, cloves and black pepper.
For a perfect brew, we recommend bringing freshly drawn cold water to a rolling boil. Place a heaping teaspoon of tea for each cup into the teapot and pour boiling water over the leaves. Let your chai steep for at least 7 minutes to bring out the "true" chai taste. Chai lovers often add sugar and milk to this tea blend.
