      Disapointed in this

Posted by Peggy on Jul 28th 2019

I was expecting the good Oolong taste and instead it was citrus. It does say that on the box when you receive it but did not see it when I ordered. I had hoped to get a bag tea to brew at work. I love good Oolong tea

This is doesn't taste like oolong

Posted by Philip on Apr 15th 2019

Although, I think Twinings should stop using the string and staple paper bag for tea, my problem is that this tea doesn't taste anything like oolong tea. Bagged teas always taste infereior compared to loose, but some are still decent tasting teas. I spent lots of time sipping, tasting and sniffing the aroma of this tea, and I don't experience oolong. Not at all, even taking time to LOOK for the character. I just finished a bag oolong tea from a chinese grocer, and it was decent. oolong tea. I can't say what this is, but oolong has a distinctive taste and I know it well. And this isn't it. Last Twinings I will buy. For bagged tea, Taylor's is MUCH better qulity,.

      Twinings never disappoints

Posted by JT on Jan 2nd 2019

It doesn't matter if we're talking about a deep dark flavor like this Oolong or a lighter more fragrant one, Twinings never disappoints.....the packaging keeps the tea flavorful for ages and I never have to worry about strings on bags coming loose.

A bit weak, but still makes a decent afternoon sip.
