"It's difficult to find decent herbals. I once had a nutty black decaf tea that was incredibly nuanced, rich, and deep in flavor. And ""smooth"". I was hoping this tea would be the nutty goodness I've been searching for since. Not a flaccid hint of almond or hazelnut, but the real deal. Nut is not the primary flavor. The tea is not ""smooth"", but sharp and berry flavored. The primary flavor of this tea is a nebulous, generic ""fruit"" or ""berry"" flavor that is unidentifiable. . . like every bad herbal tea ever made. It's even bright red in color. The tea smells nutty in the bag, there is a backwind of nut flavor, but the blast is the generic fruit flavor. What do I mean by generic? Remember red popsicles from your childhood? The red was never identifiable. Maybe cherry or strawberry or ""berry"", it was never really certain. It was simply ""red"" flavored. That is this tea. It is even a bright red color in my clear glass tea mug. Now I have this giant bag of the exact tea I can't stomach, the generic berry herbal."
