Traditionally, Christmas Puddings are prepared in British households on or around Advent. As the pudding is prepared, everyone in the household, including children, make a wish as they stir the mixture. When the home-made pudding is ready, it is usually doused in rum or brandy and presented to the cheering family aflame.
We recommend serving your Christmas pudding with clotted or devon cream, or brandy or rum butter.
