Discover an exquisite, masterfully executed jewel of orthodox Chinese viticulture: our premium Dragon Pearls Green Tea offers an extraordinarily sophisticated loose leaf experience engineered for the discerning connoisseur. Composed exclusively of the elite top two leaves and terminal bud harvested during the pristine first weeks of the vernal flush, each pearl is individually sculpted by hand. Poured hot, it draws an elegant, exceptionally pale green liquor in the vessel that belies its substantial structural body and compelling pungency. The nose is treated to an ethereal, highly appetizing vegetative bouquet and a delicate, sweet floral fragrance, while the palate experiences a clean, crisp mouthfeel that showcases the pristine purity of unblended green tea.
The peerless flavor complexity and structural integrity of this celebrated green tea allocation are entirely dictated by a hyper-specific, time-sensitive agricultural calendar. In the high-altitude fields of the **Wuyi district within China's Fujian Province**, located 1,500 feet above sea level, the spring growing cycle begins in late March. While the broader seasonal harvest spans several weeks, this elite reserve is exclusively gathered within the initial three-week plucking window. During this brief period, the emerging shoots possess their highest concentrations of amino acids, volatile oils, and native catechins, escaping the harsher, more monotone profiles that develop later in the season.
Following a delicate, localized steaming process to arrest natural oxidation and fix the vibrant green chlorophyll, artisans hand-roll the tender buds into tight, compact spheres. The presence of fine silver-white surface trichomes—the delicate *pekoe down* visible on the dry pearls—serves as an empirical indicator of superb raw leaf grade and meticulous, non-bruising structural handling. Upon thermal immersion, these compressed spheres undergo a controlled, elegant unfolding process, releasing their enclosed cellular juices into the water column in a highly uniform curve. The resulting infusion behaves with supreme resilience, offering an intellectually engaging self-drinking cup that rewards the practitioner with an uncompromised, purist tasting experience across multiple steepings.

"A great tea for the money. I do prefer the Jasmine Dragon Pearls but more $$$"
— Kim V. (3/5)
"At least the price was cheap. We had hoped the flavor would have been better - that would have been a great deal then! We had to buy much more expensive jasmine pearls and blend these tasteless pearls in with them. Quite a shame. This was the first tea we didn't like from this company, so that is good. We have been tea drinkers for 20 years and these particular pearls have been the worse we have tasted."
— Rob Z. (3/5)
"8 pearls dropped into the bottom of a 14oz mug, or set into an infuser provides two distinctly different steepings. The first is a very heady jasmine. The second steeping is more balanced, and the wonderful tea shines through. I prefer the infuser to dropped-into-mug because I can control the steep time. I like 2:30 for the first and 3:30 for the second, at 170F. I much prefer this pearl tea to others I have tried, and those were much higher priced."
