Very Bitter Unpleasant After Taste

"Kudos to the commenters who find this stuff tasty. Perhaps their palate is more refine than mine. I think that whatever ingredient used in apricot marmalade is used in this as they have the same odd aftertaste. I purchase this along with the Apricot and Lady Welsh Lemon curd. I am not happy with the taste of any of these products. I read the reviews and they were all glowing. With the exception of one lone review that mentioned the odd taste. Unfortunately, I discarded the one review in favor of the many. My mistake as that one reviewer was right. I will purchase this brand again."

"This is really great Marmalade - I give it as Christmas presents every year and it is always a hit. Love the slight whiskey flavor - it used to say Jamison's but doesn't say what the whiskey is any more - just Irish Whiskey. Regardless of Jamison's or not the flavor hasn't changed and it is a great Marmalade."
