Details
Taylors of Harrogate Yorkshire Gold Tea is a malty tea with a rich brown color. Blended from the fine teas of countries like India, Sri Lanka and Africa, this tea is great for breakfast. Since it is a stronger tea, it is often enjoyed with milk and sugar. Each English-style (tagless) tea bag contains 3.125 grams of tea.
Also consider our own brand of English Breakfast tea. We think the quality of the tea is superior.
Net Weight: 4.4 ounces (125 grams)
Ingredients: Black tea

Yorkshire Gold tea
It's good but it was a bit too strong for me. I did brew it according to directions. I'm not a regular tea drinker and an American used to drinking coffee. I typically drink Twinings Irish Breakfast. I do like your regular English Breakfast tea however. It's not going to waste however. I gave the box to a friend of mine who is a regular tea drinker and she loves it.

Worse than Lipton
I had high expectations for this tea given all the positive reviews but was negatively surprised after tasting a couple of cups. The primary flavor note in the tea was that of grass with a fishy undertone. I suspect this must have been a bad batch.

Our favorite breakfast tea
What a joy on a lazy weekend morning... as we ponder what eggs cheese and toast combination will be created. It has a great malty finish and is delicious with half and half sans sugar.

Best Tea
Thank u Last of the Summer wine for introducing me to beautiful Yorkshire and the best tea I've ever tasted..a very smooth taste and leaves no bitter after taste!

Nice tea.
Read about Yorkshire Gold tea in the "Alan Banks series by Peter Robinson:" Peaked my curiosity and I had to try it. A nice tea but not as robust as the English Breakfast tea which I adore.

My favorite!
Yorkshire Gold is my favorite tea! I like it's bold flavor enhanced by sugar (no milk) for breakfast and straight up for an iced brew in the summer.

Good tea
A good full body flavor. Very smooth taste. Not bitter as long as you don't let the tea bag stay in the mug till your done drinking. Only one slightly disappointed thing was the bags are put in the box with nothing around them to keep them fresh after opening the box.

Recommended by the English
I first learned about this rich, golden tea several years ago from a long time friend who moved to England. He and his English wife so wanted me to experience this tea they sent some to me. It is now pretty easily found in America, either on internet or in larger grocery stores. I was, as predicted, hooked for life on this mellow, mellow, but full flavored tea. I use a bit of sugar, but don't find I need to use milk to cut acidity. Did I say "mellow?"
