Unique smoky taste and amber colour remind me of beloved Maine in the autumn when chilly nights are made warm by fireplace and glowing embers.

A very good quality tea that is flavorful yet mellow.
Lapsang Souchong has been my favorite tea since the first time I tried it. It reminds me of the smokey character of LatakĂa, a pipe tobacco which is another favorite of mine. Neither one can be called strong. In fact they are on the milder side compared with other choices. In the case of the tea, my guess is that the smoking process takes out a good part of the 'bite' caused by tannins. The Taylor's brand of tea is a new for me. I was used to the version offered by Twinning. I can't comment which one is better. For that, I would have to try them side by side. However, Taylors' did not disappointed be at all. I will buy it again when I run out. By the way, one tea spoon full goes a long way in a pot for three cups. No need to give one to the pot. That's my humble opinion. Maybe in a large pot is needed, but not in mine.

Great tea
The tea is excellent but the tin, not so much. I very much enjoy the Lapsang tea very soothing taste and aroma. The tin does not "seal", would not want to keep my tea there.

Lapsang Souchong
Made my first pot of this tea last night. It has a nice smoky component, but the overall flavor is a bit more muted than other teas of this name I have owned in the past. I will continue to adjust the amount of tea used to find the best balance.
