      The BEST

This delightfully fragrant tea with real rose petals is my all-time Special Occasion tea. The rose fragrance is overlaid on a quality Chinese black tea that would be wonderful by itself. A true delight!

      Lovely tea

Fabulous tea light and soothing. A wonderful afternoon pick me up or a delicious “ladies lunch” tea with friends. I’ve had it hot and cold, it holds up well to both. Just a lovely tea to treat yourself or introduce others to the finer things in life. Will continue to purchase this quality product.

Quite possibly the best tea that I have ever had

Posted by Shoshanna on Mar 30th 2018

I fell in love with Taylor's Yorkshire Red several years ago. Was recently shopping for teas on Amazon and remembered how much I loved rose teas. Saw that Taylor's had one...oh my. The fragrance is fantastic, just on opening the package. Comes in a nice tin with vacuum sealed pac inside... Full bodied rose aroma. The roses actually sweeten the tea...I brewed in a "brown betty" pot and used Stevia for a little sweetness...perfection. The experience is exquisite. First of all the rose bouquet from the steeping bathes the face when you lift the cup to drink. The combination of rose scent, rose flavour ( is almost like a liquor,) and black tea is intoxicating. This is one of the most (probably THE most delicious) tea that I have ever experienced. It soothes and stimulates. My neurotransmitters are so happy as so many are stimulated: smell, taste, vision (the blend is beautiful) ... I actually feel better off when I drink this tea. It seems to have a medicinal effect for me. (Same with Taylor's Yorkshire Red. something about Taylor's blends is very healing to me, both physically and spiritually.) An added bonus is the lingering scent of rose in the air... sublime. All tea lovers should try this blend. I will never be without it. Thank you, Taylors, for such a beauty. please never stop making it!

      Roses in winter

Posted by Old C on Dec 14th 2017

Roses are almost impossible to grow in our Wyoming area, and I miss the wonderful aroma of the old English roses I used to grow in our southern garden. And although it seems like it might be just a summer drink, it is special in mid-winter when the doldrums of gray days need something to perk spirits up. The aroma is heady and sweet; no need to add anything, such as sugar. Drink it slowly to savor the aroma. A tea for thought and contemplation -- and we all could use a few moments for that in today's world.

      "Where have the [roses] gone?"

Posted by Anonymous on Feb 16th 2017

As a Rose Tea lover, I seek out Rose teas and I was very disappointed by this tea which I had so looked forward to receiving, after reading reviews about it on both Amazon and on this site. Perhaps I received a poor batch. There was a very subtle rose smell when the sealed envelope of tea was first opened, but when properly steeped by myself, my husband, and a friend, none of us could taste anything other than a quality black tea. I must contact the English Tea Store, because in 3-4 years, I have never been disappointed by any tea I have purchased from there.
