No summer is complete without a large plate of watermelon slices, stacked so impossibly high you wonder how it was carried. Sweet Watermelon Matcha captures the spirit, flavour and sentiment of such a plate with every succulent sip. Crafted with real powdered green tea matcha, organic cane sugar, and a dash of flavouring, this tea will have you singing 'watermelon sugar high'.

Sweet Watermelon Matcha will get your taste buds singing as well as the rest of your body. Not only are green teas, like the matcha base we've used, high in antioxidant activity, it's also known to contain a polyphenol known as epigallocatechin gallate (EGCG). This powerful little compound is thought to boost heart health and reduce inflammation in the body. A restorative boost of tea sweetened by natural cane sugar is a juicy treat your body will enjoy.

Caffeine quickly becomes soluble in very hot water. If you wish to reduce the caffeine level in this tea, briefly rinsing the tea leaves in extremely hot water will reduce the caffeine content between 25-50% with only a minor effect on taste.

Antioxidant Content: Medium - When consuming matcha you actually consume all the tea leaves. Scientific testing in Japan has indicated that on account of this fact the antioxidant benefit of matcha can be up to 5-9 greater then with normal green tea consumed in the conventional manner.
