Amsterdam 2 Cup Teapot - Orange

"BUYER BEWARE! BUYER BEWARE! The customer service with this company is abysmal!! I purchased this teapot and the 4oz package of the "Earl Grey Cream Tea". The tea was anything but Earl Grey the odor is reminiscent of Lysol toilet cleaner and the flavor is absolutely REVOLTING. I called their customer disservice number and explained the situation and asked if I could exchange it for some Irish Breakfast tea. The agent asked me if I had I opened the tea. I said "of course I opened the tea and made a cup to try. That's how I know it is not palatable and undrinkable". After being put on hold for 12 minutes I was told they weren't going to exchange the tea. I said "I will not be a returning customer because I don't do business with merchants thst do not stand behind their products!". I am also consequently putting my experience on all of my social media platforms."

Incorrect sizing

"This was advertised as a 2 cup capacity. It was not. I expected it to be able to fit 16 ounces in the pot with room for a tea infuser and room to pour adequately. This was not the case. I am very disappointed and a large restocking fee for this product was applied to my refund"

Color Not Quite As Shown

"I was expecting the teapot to be the same lovely burnished orange as pictured in the website photo, but it’s more of a flat orange. Still festive enough to brighten your fall decor. I bought the cute 2-cup pot, which is 16 ounces filled to the brim. If you want two full 8-ounce cups from your pot, I recommend buying the 3-cup pot. If you go by the English 6-ounce cup measurement, this 2-cup pot should be enough. I was hoping for a blemish-free pot, but mine isn’t. There are two tiny specks of maybe grit from the factory under the orange paint and glaze. Probably just my pot and not worth returning for an exchange. If you’re a teapot aficionado, the Amsterdam factory marking with windmill on the bottom of the pot is pretty nifty. All in all, I would buy another Amsterdam teapot from englishtteastore. com. They did a good job packing it, so it arrived in fine shape."
