Best creme Earl Grey ever
I overdosed on Tetley's Earl Grey in my younger years so I've shied away from anything with bergamot - I just don't want to relive that soapy tasting cup experience. Recently, my wife made me a surprise cup of Metz Cream Earl Grey and I loved it. The cream tempered bergamot notes in this blend are heavenly. I never thought I would drink Earl Grey ever again...until now. There was no musty smell just a delicious aroma of fresh tea. Perhaps the previous reviewer is used to drinking stale tea.

Nope nope nope
I love earl grey tea, I love the English tea store, but I don’t like Metz luxury teas. I ordered 3 different Metz teas and they all have this moldy earthy taste that I just don’t like. The first was a Tisane that was very “earthy” tasting. I thought it was just not to my liking. Tried the other 2 -this earl gray and the other a green tea. Nope. Can’t get through a half a cup. Something is not right. Surely this is not a characteristic of their brand.
