Details
The Organic Earl Grey Tea blend from English Tea Store is a wonderful and soothing tea any time of the day. The tea gets its unusual flavor from oil of Bergamot, which is a small acidic orange. The latest research indicates that the Bergamot orange is a cross between the sweet or pear lemon (Citrus Limetta) and the Seville or sour orange (Citrus Aurantium). The sour orange is native to southern Vietnam, hence the Chinese connection. For the best brew, Organic Earl Grey should steep in water that has been brought to a rolling boil for 2-5 minutes.
Grown at 5000-7000 feet above sea level in Sri Lanka, this organic earl grey blend is 100% natural, with no chemicals or pesticides used in its production.
This tea is part of the Ethical Tea Partnership, and is certified USDA and QMI Organic.

My favorite tea
Prompt service; my go to for my favorite teas.

Quite ordinary
I was buying this tea few years here. It was definitely better taste and quality earlier

Should have checked reviews
I know Earl Grey tea; I know it's taste and scent. This is NOT Earl Grey. The smell is meh, not a bit of bergamot. Taste? Absolutely HORRIBLE. Worse than dirty dishwater. Had to throw the entire package away. What a waste!

Off taste and low quality for more money
I really wanted to like this tea. I’m a big fan of earl grey, and based on the other reviews decided to pay the extra for this organic version. My mistake. Smell and flavor are “off”. Not sure how to describe it, but it’s not right. Also. The fannings are so small that they fall through the filter, leaving a layer of tea-particles at the bottom of the cup. Mostly it’s the flavor though that is making me reconsider my decision. Stick with Twinnings or that Harrowgate brand.

Great tea
Love this tea anytime of the day. I like the bigger leaves. I always come back to the Earl Grey with a splash of milk!
-
Consistent quality tea, and service
I buy this tea regularly and it's always consistently great-tasting Earl Grey organic tea. The best I've had. I've tried many. If you get it on sale or their free shipping deal, so much the better!
