The Earl Grey Cream Tea blend from English Tea Store has a taste that's smooth with vanilla overtones that stand out above the premium bergamot flavor - the signature taste of Earl Grey. An excellent all day tea with a superb finish.

The 3 high-grown districts of Sri Lanka, Nuwara Eliya, Dimbula and Uva, produce flavorful teas that have the classic 'Ceylon' tea character which is noted by floral bouquet and flavor notes, touches of mild astringency, bright coppery color and, most importantly, perfect for use as the base tea of our flavored teas. Dimbula and the western estates of Nuwara Eliya have a major quality peak during Jan/Feb, whereas Uva and the eastern estates of Nuwara Eliya have their peak in July/Aug. This 'dual peak period' allows us to buy the best for our flavored tea blends several times during the year, ensuring top quality and freshness. Using flavoring oils, not crystals, gives the tea drinker an olfactory holiday before indulging in a liquid tea treat.

Earl Grey Cream is gluten free, as well as nuts, wheat, crustacea, eggs, milk/dairy, sulfites, and soy lecithin free. This tea is packed at a factory that has nuts on the premises.

Caffeine content: Medium - This tea contains natural caffeine found in the L. Camellia Sinensis family. A cup of black tea steeped in boiled water for 5 minutes will contain between 27 to 35 milligrams of caffeine. An equal sized cup of coffee will contain between 80- 100 milligrams of caffeine. Caffeine quickly becomes soluble in very hot water. If you wish to reduce the caffeine level in this tea, briefly rinsing the tea leaves in extremely hot water will reduce the caffeine content between 25-50% with only a minor effect on taste.

Antioxidant Content: Very High - 7.50 - 9.99% polyphenols by dry weight. The longer you steep your tea the more polyphenols will be extracted. (Test results based on 5 minutes steeping time. Polyphenol percentages may fluctuate with lot, grade of tea, testing method, temperature of water and freshness of tea). More antioxidants are extracted from tea (L. Camellia Sinesis) the longer it is brewed. And the more tea is used, the greater the antioxidant benefit.

Nutritional Information: Amount per Serving; Serving size 2.5 grams of loose tea. Makes 8 fluid ounces or 240milliliters.

      EARL GREY CREAM

I love this tea, we keep it on hand for relaxing in the evening. But my favorite way to have it is as a cold brew iced tea. All the rich notes of black tea without the bitter, and soft vanilla and cream on the pallet.

Tastes as good as the fragrance. It has a slightly sweet taste due to notes of vanilla and bergamot. I smile every time I have a cup of this tea. Excellent with a dab of honey and cream or as is.

      Really does taste creamy

I love this Earl Grey. I switch between this one and the Versailles lavender. This tea has a slight vanilla flavour, it it isn’t overwhelming. I drink this every morning.

Earl Grey Cream Tea - Loose Leaf

I am a fan of regular Earl Grey, and the hint of vanilla in this Earl Grey Cream really kicks it up a notch and adds a complexity yet also a mellowness to the bergamot flavor.

This is my favorite tea that I get from English Teas Store. I recently shared some of it with another tea lover. She compared it with two other Earl Grey Cream teas from other companies. She enjoy this version the most.

I drank this tea for years mixing it with Japanese green tea for extra health benefits. For years it was very enjoyable cup of tea, but this batch is bitter and I have to add more sweetener to revive the old flavor. So unless the product improves it is only average.
