Details
The most famous flavored tea, Earl Grey is a blend of fine black China teas and the natural oil of bergamot, a pear-shaped citrus fruit grown in Italy and Sicily. A delicious, very aromatic tea, it is best served black or with a slice of lemon at any time of the day. It is said that a Chinese Mandarin gave the secret recipe to one of Earl Grey's diplomats in 1830 as a reward for saving his life.

Earl Grey is my favorite tea, and this variety is the best!

Awesome pot of tea
I have been drinking Earl Grey for many years. I have tried many brands and Taylors of Harrogate is the most aromatic and best flavour I have found. Dinner at a 5 star restaurant last night was a dissapointment. I wish all restaurants served Taylors of Harrogate.

First time Taylor's of Harrogate Earl Grey...
This was my first order of ToH Earl Grey (loose leaf)... I find the tea to be very good.. In fact better than any Earl Grey I have had.. It has a firm body with just enough bergamot for me as I like it strong.. Although, it is not upfront of the excellent black tea.. I was also pleased that even at the end of the pot it was smooth with no noticeable bitter.. The buying experience was also good with one small exception.. That being the tracking on the economy shipping was somewhat disjointed..

Best Earl Grey tea ever!
I have tried most of the brand name Earl Grey teas and some of the non-branded ones. Taylors is the best of all of them. Its deep rich flavor with the oil of bergamot is perfect after dinner or in the afternoon for tea. I will now only drink Taylors loose leaf Earl Grey. I wish restaurants would stock this tea also. After a fine expensive meal or even a not so expensive one, Lipton just doesn't make it.

Perfect
My very favorite Earl Grey tea. It is just the best..

Best way to start your day.
I sampled over a dozen Earl Grey teas before settling down with Taylor's Of Harrowgate. By far the best in combination of aroma, body and flavour. The price of it here is what led me to this site many years ago.

First time purchase
Ever since I visited England many years ago where I first tried it, I have loved Earl Grey tea. Too often when buying it here across the pond it doesn't taste the same as when I was there. Your tea is very good and reminds me of the little tea shop in the corner of the Sheraton Hyde Park where I bought my first cup. The purchase was easy on your web site and I will be a repeat customer. Thank you so much for your service.

Must be what the Captain drinks!
I always thought I disliked Early Grey Tea (Jean Luc Picard notwithstanding) because I have only tried Twinings which iswas way too perfumey for me. Taylor's of Harrowgate's Earl Grey is much more subtle, with a slight flowery fragrance and a bit of citrus flavor. I really love it!

Very bad batch don't buy
I bought 2 small boxes of this tea could not brew a drinkable cup from it. No taste or color at all using one 8-ounce cup and any amount of tea, using boiling water and steeping for 3 to 4 minutes. I started with a little less than one teaspoon, and continued to brew additional cups increasing the amount of tea until I had used 2 heaping tablespoons, and steeped for 5 minutes. At this point there was a little color and more flavor than pure water, but clearly it was a dud. Tea in both boxes was equally unsatisfactory.
