Details
The French Tea Blend from English Tea Store is a blend featuring Ooh-la-la flavor notes from "creme de la vanille", Earl Grey, Jasmine and Lavender, all deliciously blended with flavory Ceylons, Nilgiris, Assams and Kenyas. A good flavored tea tempered with flowery character and malty notes.
The Assam component gives the tea richness, while the Nilgiri and Ceylon gives the tea a saucy but sprightly flavor. From Kenya, there is romance and mystery with superb golden color notes and from China there is the delicate perfume of Jasmine, so often used in Parisian perfumes. To cement the "French" character, lavender from Provence was added along with some rose petals, a tea fit for the Latin Quarter along the Seine.
98% or more of this tea comes from estates that are part of the Ethical Tea Partnership, and 50% or more from Fair Trade estates. The ETP is an initiative started within the tea industry to monitor and regulate living and working conditions on estates around the world.

French blen Tea - Loose Leaf
I have used lavender tea to relieve headaches. I find it works better if I mix it with a black tea. I tried Earl Grey with Lavender. It is a nice tea and works well. Since my husband and I also like regular Earl Grey, I looked for a different tea with lavender for variety. I tried this French Blend. It is tasty and soothing. It is a nice pick up in the afternoon and I won't wait until I have a headache to use it :-)

An afternoon treat
When I've had a challenging day at work, French Blend is my go-to treat to motivate myself. With a little sweetner and a bit of cream, it is a delicious afternoon pick-me-up, brightening my mood. Wel, let's be honest, if I buy it in bulk, I might start out my day with this yummy, malty, slightly astringent, floral tea, or serve it at a tea party for friends, or indulge in multiple cups a day. It is a favorite. Sometimes I'll blend it with decaf black to tone down the floral notes.
