Details
The Scottish Caramel Toffee Pu-erh Tea blend from English Tea Store is an exquisite combination of flavors from Scotland and China. Those familiar with Pu erh know that it exhibits a musty, earthy character, but when combined with the sweetness of caramel and toffee, it delivers a sweet, burnt, sugary flavor that's a perfect blend. This tea is like dessert in a cup and delivers a sweet, decadent finish.
A study in Japan indicated that all teas lower cholesterol, but that Pu erh is more effective than green tea. Some followers of "Chinese tea for health" believe that Pu erh can "cut the grease, help digestion, promote body fluid secretion, quench the thirst, invigorate the spleen, and dispel alcoholic toxins."

Disappointed, no caramel toffee flavor.
I cannot taste or smell any caramel toffee flavor. Disappointed

formula changed
This tea is still my favorite tea in the morning. The picture shows the old flavor bits which was great, the best. Now they use flakes which aren't as good, but still a great tea.

Pu-erh body

Excellent tea

still good after the change
Take it straight or add cream, it's a rich, creamy, flavorful tea. I have used this tea for a few years now, so I know the flavor intimately. They changed the taste slightly a few months ago, using different additives. At first I didn't like it, but they have adjusted it lately and it is (almost) as good as the old version. Still hard to beat if you like strong, mellow taste. Good replacement for coffee.

Great Tea
Full bodied. Great lingering taste. Love it during the day as a pick me up. One of my favorites.

No SCT
This is Pu-erh but no Scottish Caramel Toffee flavor. There were a few (very few) bits of nut pieces. Very disappointed. Will not buy again.

Tastes like dessert
This is another customer favorite. It is so rich tasting it could be a dessert.
-
Divine tea
My favorite every day Brew is a divine tea. Bold and rich with a touch of sweetness that satisfies. Next closest thing to coffee with the benefits and elegance only tea offers.
