Germany takes their gingerbread seriously, many of the bakeries keep their gingerbread recipes a closely guarded secret. Luckily, we got one baker to give us a list of ingredient which we used to create this delicious blend of German Gingerbread tea. It is bright in the cup and brimming with spicy gingerbread notes, this tea will have you saying ja bitte (yes, please) in no time.

Polyphenol percentages may fluctuate with lot, grade of tea, testing method, temperature of water and freshness of tea). More antioxidants are extracted from tea (L. Camellia Sinesis) the longer it is brewed. And the more tea is used, the greater the antioxidant benefit.

GERMAN GINGERBREAD FLAVORED BLACK TEA - LOOSE LEAF
I was surprised how much I loved this tea. I was expecting it to taste a bit medicinal, but it is warm and comforting. I can use this to counter an unsettled tummy, but I just enjoy it so much to end a cold night with that I don't know if I will have any saved back for that. Time to re-order!

Very nice!
I don't know how the addition of anise brings out a ginger flavor, but it does. Great with milk and has enough flavor not to need sweetener.

Okay
This tea was good but the gingerbread flavor was not very strong to me.

Very good
Will buy again

Spice is too strong
As often happens with these types of teas with strong spices, the spice overwhelms the tea. In fact, the tea has that oily/waxy feel in the mouth that these types of teas sometimes have. I found that if I mix it 2 to 1 with an unflavored tea, it works much better. The flavor is good with this mix, but I don't think I'll buy again.

A taste of Christmas
I enjoy drinking this spiced tea. It's a great blend of spice with hints of anise and sweetness. A delicious blend for the Christmas season.

German Gingerbread
We have been customers of this e-tailor for over 15 years and have enjoyed many of their unique blends. This particular flavor is unbelievably delicious. We tried it several months ago when it first became available and have since re-ordered 2 more 4-oz. packages of it. The flavor is spot on! My wife made some gingerbread, and we enjoyed it with a cup of this tea-it was fabulous. We hope that it will become a year-round regular product that is available in one lb. quantities.
