First time trying English Tea Store's Blue Suede Shoes Green Loose Leaf Tea? Try our Sample Size of 1 ounce.
The Blue Suede Shoes Green Tea blend from English Tea Store opens with a smooth sweetness and finishes with mild noisette notes. Made with green tea, grown in the Hunan Province of China, this tea needs no sweetner and is delicious as an iced tea.
Contents loose leaf tea net weight 1 ouncesIngredients: Green tea, Rosehip + Blue Pea flowers + Blue Cornflower petals, Hawthorne fruit, Natural flavors
Caffeine content: Low - This tea contains natural caffeine found in the L. Camellia Sinensis family. A cup of green tea steeped in boiled water for 5 minutes will contain between 22 to 29 milligrams of caffeine. An equal sized cup of coffee will contain between 80 - 100 milligrams of caffeine. Caffeine quickly becomes soluble in very hot water. If you wish to reduce the caffeine level in this tea, briefly rinsing the tea leaves in extremely hot water will reduce the caffeine content between 25-50% with only a minor effect on taste.Antioxidant Content: High - The longer you steep your tea the more polyphenols will be extracted. (Test results based on 5 minutes steeping time. Polyphenol percentages may fluctuate with lot, grade of tea, testing method, temperature of water and freshness of tea). More antioxidants are extracted from tea (L. Camellia Sinesis) the longer it is brewed. And the more tea is used, the greater the antioxidant benefit.

Ehh...
I can't seem to tell what flavor this has beside the normal green tea, it is too subtle. As a green tea, it's fine but nothing fun and exciting here.

Great, soothing aromas & Excellent Flavor depth!
What a kick - a great flavored pick-me-up in the early morning! Opening the pouch frees delightful aromas. Brewed as suggested, this blend furnishes a smooth, suede soft, complex flavorful cup. A very nice change of pace from more typical lovely matcha, sencha, and Japanese tencha teas.

I'm not fond of it but everyone around me goes crazy for it
Okay this is going to be an odd review. Simply said I do not like this tea but all of my friends and coworkers cannot live without it. I say this with all seriousness that they prefer this tea to almost anything that I stock in my collection. They must not be the only ones because it was out of stock for so long that my friends were near tears when I told them I could not find any more Blue Suede Shoes. Now that it's back in stock I purchased two 1 lb bags to hold us for a little while. All I can say is try the one ounce bag and make up your own mind. I may be the only person on Earth who does not like this tea.
