Lemon Barley water tastes similar to a good qualty home made lemonade. It is diluted about 6 to 10 parts to 1 with water so 1 bottle makes over 1 gallon. Ribena and Orange Squash are also diluted in the the same way
In addition to our many teas, English Tea Store also sells a few instant British drink mixes, such as Cadbury’s Drinking Chocolate, Bournvita, Caffee D’Amore, apple cider, Robinsons Squash and Lemon Barley Water, and Ribena.
Caffe D’Amore is a series of instant chai teas, hot cocoa, and coffee drink mixes, similar to ordinary powdered hot chocolate. Cadbury Drinking Chocolate, however, makes a thicker, bittersweet drink when mixed with heated milk. Bournvita is a malted version of hot drinking chocolate.
Our apple cider mix, Mulling Spice Holiday Home, can be mixed with either cranberry juice or red wine. The mix comes in a house-shaped package including a description of a period home.
Squash and Lemon Barley Water may sound bitter but, contrary to name, is in fact a liquid mix that should be diluted with water first. Ribena is a similar drink, only blackcurrant flavored.
