Details
Use this Tip Tea Strainer when enjoying your loose leaf tea. Simply place the Tip Tea Strainer on the top of your cup by "swinging" it away from the drip bow. After pouring your brewed tea through the strainer (this will catch those loose leaves), you just swing the strainer back in place over the drip bowl to catch any drips.
The Tip Tea Strainer is made of stainless steel and is dishwasher safe.
Dimensions: 2.75 inch L x 2.63 inch W x 2.5 inch H

Size matters
These are a bit smaller than I expected. They only fit well on small teacups. I thought they would be more like the size of the strainers I used in Japan, where I first saw this style and thought tjey were very clever. But these ones are not going to be as useful as I'd wished.

A wonderful surprise
My "antique" tip tea strainer broke over a year ago. I had a hard time finding a replacement, partially because I couldn't figure out what term to use on Google. But also this is apparently a rare item in Tucson, AZ. I was delighted to find it, prepared to pay much more for it, thrilled when it arrived so quickly and astounded by its quality. Couldn't be happier. Thanks.
