My preference is no milk and a little sugar
I didn't know what gunpowder tea was until I bought this and I enjoyed it from the first cup. I always say try one oz see if you like it, you will not be disappointed with this one.

I've come across some so-so gunpowder tea. I took a chance with this one online, but the price was reasonable. I'm pleased with the flavor.

Very pleased with this hearty green tea. Strong taste, great for people who like strong tea but want to go green instead of black. I'd compare it to an black East-Frisian, or Yorkshire tea.

A very good gunpowder green
This is a consistently good gunpowder green with some body - not very vegetative in taste. The most recent batch seems a bit less smoky than the last one, which is why I gave it four stars instead of five - but not everyone wants a hint of smoke.
