Good, solid tea strainer.
Works well for brewing a cup of tea with the strainer in the cup, like I do it.

Welded solid, quality stainless
My two most common complaints about stainless kitchenware are cheap construction ans cheap stainless. This product has the outer perimeter of the basket screening firmly encased within a solid stainless steel rim, The handle and ears seem firmly attached and the basket shape is uniform about the vertical axis. After a couple of weeks of use, I examined the stainless steel surface through a jeweler's loupe, looking for telltale microdots of flash rust. Cheap stainless steel is forged with less than 10.5% chromium and will show flash rust pretty quickly. I found none, even on the surfaces that had been wirebrushed and therefore most susceptible to rusting. I like the size, too. I use this strainer with my French press and the size is just right for getting my morning joe into any size mug. I'm very happy with this one and I use it every morning because coffee is the most important meal of the day :)
