Of the four decaffeinated teas I have tried, this is the best. Full-flavor, no off-notes (as is often the case), no bitterness. It is not the cheapest and not the most expensive, but it well worth the price.

typoo decaf Review by horseperson

I was introduced to this tea several years ago and I immediately fell in love with it's smoothness and taste that is never bitter no matter how strong it gets. Most decaf is weak and puny. Typoo is bold but so smooth. Now it's the only tea I drink.

This is the best tea I've ever found -- both the regular and decaf. If you're in the United States, it really is far better than the teas you find in regular grocery stores.

Wow! I have been drinking a very inferior decaf tea from my local grocery store. I live in a rural area and only had one brand available. I decided to give Typhoo a try and I'm so glad I did! Great flavor. I just have to be careful not to brew it too long. It's good strong stuff! Thank goodness for the internet!

My first thought when pouring myself a cup of this is WOW! This tea has COLOR!!! It's not pale and washed out! As much as I love a certain brand of tea, their English Breakfast can't hold a candle to this stuff. It even tops my other favorite, a particular brand of Irish Breakfast from London. I can't drink caffeine, and I love tea so much, so finding the best decaf varieties has become a bit of an obsession. (I have two drawers full...) This one tops my list for decaf black tea. Best decaf I've had...

When I ran out of this tea, I bought what was available at my nearest grocery store. I won’t do that again. I will keep this in my cupboards at all times! I love how cream and sugar compliment, but not overpower, the flavor of this tea. Love it. An excellent tea!

I am a bit of a tea snob, and I don’t generally like decaf black teas because of their lack of body and flavor. Typhoo Decaf is amazing because it doesn’t taste like a decaf. It is the only decaf black tea worth drinking! The ONLY decaf to drink!

Most American brands of decaf lost the flavor along with the caffein. If you love a rich cup of tea that is robust and round but not harsh and you want to avoid the jitters and sleepless nights, try Typhoo decaf. Even my English husband made the switch without complaint. Decaf but with flavor
