Good Generic Tea

Wholesome, satisfying black tea if you don’t care about particular strains and just want a strong, consistantly good breakfast tea.

I love it
Reviewer:  G Martin
My English friends told me about PG Tips, and once I tried it I loved it. It has a much more full bodied flavor than the popular American brands. I’m staying with PG Tips.

excellent, but...

I prefer lighter teas, but this is great on mrnings when you cannot wake up. My only complaint is that sometimes, when I drink it on an empty stomach, I will get a tiny bit of nausea.

Too Bitter For Me
Reviewer:  Teatime Ed
I tried to like PG Tips, I really did, but just find it too bitter and strong. To me, it is to Tea what Maxwell House is to Coffee. I like the English Tea Store brand and Twinings English Breakfast much better. Trying Typhoo next due to the rave reviews.

tea for texas
Reviewer:  elaine
we drink this every day and have for over 5 years - have tried many others, but this is the best - you must brew it like the "true English tea" and use sugar if desired and cream "poured lightly to form a "cloud" up from the bottom.

An acceptable cuppa
Reviewer:  Steve W
Being a bit of a conniseur of tea, PG Tips is an ok product. If you have time then try and brew the tea from leaves (also sold on this website) as it somehow tastes a bit better. It’s a shame they don’t sell TETLEY tea which is a big seller in the UK as every cup made with Tetley is a winner.

Full-bodied...almost like Twining’s Irish Breakfast. This has become my favorite tea.

P.G. Tips sells tonnes of Tea in The U.K.
It’s a very assertive cup of ’Cha,’ best served with Milk and sweetened a bit.
Wonderful stuff to have, first thing in the Morning.
Wakes you up a lot faster than Coffee!

I'm hooked
Reviewer:  Amy
Since going to England in ’07, I haven’t bought anything else. I brew every morning with milk and one sugar cube. Delicious!

Super Tea Lover!
Reviewer:  Jonathon Storjohann
If I could have a trustworthy friend in this world; it would be PG Tips. PG Tips can sit on my table and talk to me about tea, swim in my cup, soak in my tea pot any time, and be married to me if it were human. I had never tried PG Tips before till my local grocer supplied it and it took my on an imaginary trip in tea land. LOVE IT! LOVE IT! LOVE IT EVEN MORE! Thank you. :)
