Was excited to get Penguins which were a regular in my cupboard when I lived in England. As good as ever except I do believe they have shrunk a little since then.

Addictive Review by Aether

Look. Learn from my mistakes and run. Run far away from these sinful creations. You won't, though, will you? I didn't. I was warned. I was bloody -warned- that these things were addictive. Years back I was long-distance friends with a bunch of Commonwealthians (Aussies, New Zealanders, Brits, you name it) in an online game. Every time - EVERY TIME - these biscuits came up they would fall over themselves protesting how good they are, how once you've had one you'll always want more, how they couldn't believe they didn't exist in America. "You never had a penguin?! Where do you live, Mars?!" "Don't. Don't try one. Don't fall for their chocolatey siren call. Ever." "They're so good! She has to try one!" "Don't tempt her!" Such things and more I had to listen to whenever the subject came up. Did I listen? No. Of course not. The first chance I got, I tried one, and... well, saying that they are addictive is putting it mildly. Deliciously, fabulously addictive little piece of chocolate-covered biscuits.... the only bad thing is that I can't find them anywhere around me any more. But here they are... oh, wondrous day. Glorious, chocolatey wondrous day. Come to me, my darl-*cough* Don't say I didn't warn you. You'll see.

I learned a neat trick from the Durham Uni Tea and Biscuit Society (DUTABS) -- all Penguin fans ought to try this: Take a penguin biscuit, nibble off 2 opposing corners, place biscuit down into the tea and then suck the tea THROUGH the biscuit, and then, working quickly so it doesn’t fall apart, eat the gooey chocolate melty penguin ! If you like them dry, you’ll L-O-V-E them when they’re all fudgy ! It’s fabulous. Playing in your food doesn’t get any better than this Penguin Straws

I recently tried these biscuits for the first time, and I am now addicted to them! The chocolate flavors blend together for one amazing taste, and it’s nice that each biscuit is fairly low in calories, so you can indulge in a few at a time. I will order more! Pure decadence!
