Two of our featured models, the Ibis Cordless and Chef’s Choice 677, are within the mid-price range of $30 to $50. The design of the Ibis Cordless Kettle includes a scale fitter that reduces the amount of calcium in the water and results in a far more flavorful cup of tea. The kettle boils water in four minutes with a 1500 watt power heating device directly in contact with the water. Other notable features include a body composed of polypropylene plastic and stainless steel and a water level indicator, allowing you to view the amount of water inside the kettle from the outside.
Our most popular model, the Chef’s Choice 677 comes in corded and cordless designs, but both will boil water for a crisp, flavorful cup of tea. The cordless design allows the kettle to be lifted easier from the base. In addition, because this model is so popular, it is included in our Electric Kettle Starter Kit at a reduced price.
Toastess’ mid-range model is the TJK-340, which includes the removable Aquascreen. For fast and easy cleaning, the kettle has advanced heating technology with concealed heating elements. Its automatic features give it a three-level safety system, including automatic boil and shut off features. The TJK-340 will also shut off if plugged in dry and will shut off when lifted from base.
