Lighter in flavor than black tea, green tea is known for containing many antioxidants. Our green tea is not oxidized at all; rather, the leaves are steamed, rolled, and dried. Our English Tea Store brand tea has a few variations on green tea, with the most popular being pinhead gunpowder tea. Supposedly, the name was given after the tiny, balled leaves reminded an English clerk of gunpowder. Aside from antioxidants, gunpowder tea is also known to be high in fluoride, and three cups, or ten grams of tea, can supply a day’s worth of fluoride.
