Amazing how fast this will reboil water; it must insulate well. The first boil with a full 1.5L takes a few minutes, but is still faster than my cheap kettle on a gas range. Note, the plug has a ground prong, so you’ll need another adapter if you have old wiring.

I have had this kettle from this seller for about 2 years, maybe a bit more, and it works perfectly. I am very happy with it. Whenever I am at a friends or the office and am forced to use the microwave or a stove top kettle I am let down.
