Great hot or cold - as a stand-alone tea. A wonderful mix is with Lavender! about 5 parts Assam to 1 part Lavender / by measure - not weight - ie; 1 1/4 cup tea to 1/4 cup lanender!! Smells so good and tastes even better!

This makes fantastic iced tea. I prefer very dark iced teas with no sugar or lemon, and this fits the bill. Brews up dark with a mild malty flavor and has a very subtle and pleasant hint of acidity.
