I find it needs more sugar than other teas.

Best value everyday Darjeeling
Reviewer:  Scott Lawrence
Over the past 40 years I have been an ardent devotee of tea, and Darjeelings are the only teas I ever drink. Dump the rest into Boston Harbor. The Soom Estate (first flush) is excellent, but quite delicate, so for an everyday more robust Darjeeling this is the ONE! Best value I’ve ever found.

If you like it strong
Reviewer:  P Roy
I drink tea with sugar and a spot of whole milk as creamer - be it for breakfast or afternoon. I grew up in West bengal, the state where Darjeeling is located - the peculiar taste of tea comes from there (which probably was introduced by the British). Darjeeling tea is the only tea which suites my preparation and unfortunately it is so rare to find in the US. But, thanks to English Tea Store for bringing such fine quality Darjeeling tea at such an affordable price.
The Mim Estate and Margaret Hope are both 2nd flushes and have similar muscatel character. Brew it for 4mins and it yields a splendid aroma. The liquor is strong enough to leave an aftertaste.

Fantastic!!!
Reviewer:  Ian
I’ve been looking around for a good loose Darjeeling that isn’t too expensive. This tea is delicious and just as good as the more expensive stuff I’ve tried!!! It has a beautiful aroma and a smooth flavor that makes the last sip as good as the first. This tea is now one of my favorites and I’m definitely going to be ordering Mim Estate on a regular basis.

Also, if any of you are looking to cut back on your caffeine intake, try steeping a pot of this tea for 2 min and 30 seconds, dump it out, and then steep the tea again for 6 minutes. The flavor and aroma still stand up (without it getting the least bit bitter with tannins) and about 80% of the caffeine has been removed. :-)

The Queen of Darjeeling!!
Reviewer:  Ashish Paul
The 2nd Flush Mim Darjeeling has this dark dark characteristic 2nd flush liqours with a mellow, muscatel flavour having adeqaute astringency. Excellent to have it with little milk and some sugar. Remember - must steep it for minimum 4-5 minutes. Thanks. Keep up the good manufacture.

Flavorful and fragrant
Reviewer:  Chaiwallah in Blacksburg, Va.
This is a flavorful and fragrant Darjeeling tea. I t has some liquor so as to not be insipid but not too much to be bitter.

Certainly, one of the better Darjeeling teas that I’ve tasted. Definitely a redo, and the price is doable, as a previous reviewer has remarked.
