A little slower to brew than the #1 blend - bigger leaf size probably to blame...if blame is the right word !!

A stronger tea, well suited to milk and sugar, right up this Englishman’s street !

I don’t mind brewing slightly longer with the larger leaf blend....more flavor with less bitterness, in my opinion. And, bonus, the leaves are easier to shake out of my infuser.

The bigger the better

I find that the larger the tea leaf (loose tea) the better the flavor of the tea. English Tea Store has it in the No. 2 loose leaf tea.

We ordered about 8 different loose teas, and while English Breakfast tea is by its nature supposed to be strong, we found this one a little bitter - a little leaves will go far in your brewing, but make it a very short brew cycle.

This is a great quality tea, but lacking in gusto for me. It seems to be a little light and almost floral for a breakfast tea. I will keep looking.

Nice smooth flavorful cup. Really enjoy it and it has become my new first cup of the day tea. Will definitely buy again.
