This is a naturally flavored black tea. We use natural high grown Ceylon tea from estates at more than 5500 feet above sea level. We add natural flavor to give a clean true taste with no chemical aftertaste.

the loose tea has a strong scent that I find, frankly, intoxicating. I sense the chocolate notes most keenly, while my friends are more prone to pick up cherry, or cream. But for traditionalists -- Fear NOT! The tea has a strong, smooth flavour withOUT any overpowering "flavouring." I had none of the experience of J. Gunn [below], and indeed am unable to taste the chocolate, cherry, or creams when drinking the tea. I steep on the short side, and find that this is a smooth, delicate, but solid tea.
I’m VERY hopeful that this hasn’t been discontinued.
